Sound Hunt

Early Years went on a sound hunt today. We looked for different things that began with the sounds we are learning. We found it tricky to find words that started with "i" and "g"!

Crawling through the Time Tunnel

Today we talked about how we had changed since we were a baby. We then crawled through a 'Time Tunnel' and collected a baby photograph of someone in our class. We had to look at the photo and try and guess who it was, we had great fun and found it funny seeing how we had all changed.

Venturing into the Computer Suite

We had great fun typing our names into Word on the computer and enjoyed learning how to change the font, size and colour! We are looking forward to seeing them finished and on our classroom door.

Jeans for Genes Day!

We all wore our Jeans and remembered to bring our money to give to the charity Jeans For Genes

Guess Who?

We had great fun playing a game of Guess Who with our own self portrait paintings today. We had to listen to the clues describing the person and as the painting was revealed we saw if we were correct!
It was very funny!

A visit from Year 3

Early Years had a lovely visit from Year 3 today. We had a great time going to the Dinosaur Museum and digging for fossils!

Through the Magic Mirror

The children read the story "Through the Magic Mirror" by Anthony Browne. After "going through" our own imaginary mirror children drew all the strange things they saw.
